The Astraeus Serenade is a Stage Fishing Rod obtained from Astraeus' quest.
The Astraeus Serenade is a fishing rod that can be obtained from completing the Quest from the NPC Astraeus hidden in Astraeus' Void. It is a rod with nearly no drawbacks, and has extremely similar stats to Polaris Serenade. Fish such as a Mosslurker or Scylla become extremely easy to catch when using this rod. To obtain Astraeus Serenade you need to be at least level 1,000. (No longer obtainable since Feb 8, 2026)

Passives
+50% Progress Speed 10% chance to fill the progress bar to 100% -10% Fish Weight Every 2.25-10 seconds, stars fall down for 2.25 seconds. They will begin to fall every 0.5 seconds, speeding up to 0.1 seconds per star. Each star grants +3% Progress for a total 30% progress boost. Firefly Entity Passive: Every 3 minutes you'll be given a random fish from the place you're fishing in, granting Quiet mutation to that fish and having a 3% Shiny, Sparkling chance to be applied to that fish. 15% chance to apply Astraeus (9.6x) 10% chance to apply Serene (8.5x) 8% chance to apply Breezed (8.6x) 8% chance to apply Nova (6x) 8% chance to apply Celestial (4x)
Obtainment
The Astronomical Fretboard can be obtained from the Spirit of Darkness. It can only spawn during the last 5 minutes of a foggy night in Cursed Isle near the wooden house. The season needs to be either Spring or Autumn. The player needs to input following items into the dirt pile: Once these items have been successfully put in, the player is rewarded with the Astronomical Fretboard. The Twilight Pegs can be obtained from the Spirit of Light. The Spirit of Light is located on the top of Northern Expedition, more specifically at Glacial Grotto. The player needs to hold out a Heavenly Flying Fish during a windy night to spawn the NPC, then give it a Blessed Moon Wood to obtain the Twilight Pegs. To continue with the quests down below, locate Astraeus in the Underground Music Venue, by clicking these objects (order doesn't matter) during Starfall: NOTE: YOU HAVE TO GET ASTRONOMICAL FRETBOARD AND TWILIGHT PEGS BEFORE YOU CAN DO THIS STEP.
