Description
The Bomber Elf is the third unit that spawns from the Elf Camp. It spawns when the Elf Camp is at Levels 2-3. As with other units, it starts from the end of the map path and moves towards the entrance of the map. It has a spawnrate of 25 seconds. The Bomber Elf will collide with enemies until it dies. Upon death, the present that it is holding will explode and deal a large amount of damage to anything caught in the explosion. The Bomber Elf is replaced by the Gift Bomber for the Level 4 Elf Camp.
Appearance
The Bomber Elf has pale skin and brown hair. It wears a green shirt with a brown belt and red details, red hat with goggles on top, dark green pants and brown shoes. It holds a black and yellow present, which explodes upon death.
Strategy
The Bomber Elf is great for hordes of enemies that spawn initially during the round, like the Heavy, Hidden, Mystery or Breaker2. It can also deal quite a bit of damage to stronger enemies like the Normal Boss or Elite Abnormal. On two-pathed maps, only one Bomber Elf will spawn per Level 2-3 Elf Camp. It will go down a random path. The Bomber Elf can be somewhat useful against Hiddens and Shadows if none of your other towers have hidden detection. The Bomber Elf cannot collide with Ghost enemies like Souls, though they can still be caught in its explosion. The Bomber Elf can deal full collision damage to enemies with defense, like the Heavy or Elite Abnormal. The explosion, however, will have its damage reduced. The Bomber Elf will struggle against any enemy with abilities that damage units because of its low health. For example, if the Fallen King uses its Sword Swing attack, and an Bomber Elf is caught in the attack, it is instantly defeated and its explosion is unlikely to hit anything.
Trivia
The Classic skin is based on the Bomber Elf enemy from Cold Ambush. While the Bomber Elf has a range of 2.5, it cannot deal any form of damage, aside from collision damage.
