Description
The Gift Bomber is one of the final units that spawns from the Elf Camp. It spawns when the Elf Camp is at Level 4, replacing the Bomber Elf. As with other units, it starts from the end of the map path and moves towards the entrance of the map. It has a spawnrate of 50 seconds. Unlike most other units, the Gift Bomber cannot collide with most enemies as it is a flying unit. It will collide with any enemy that has the Boss attribute. The Gift Bomber will drop present bombs whenever there are enemies in its range, which explode after hitting the ground and deal damage to them.
Appearance
The Gift Bomber has pale skin and brown hair. It wears a green shirt with a brown belt and red details, red hat with goggles on top, dark green pants and brown shoes. It flies in a red and gold sleigh that has multiple explosive presents in it, which it throws at enemies.
Strategy
The Gift Bomber can be quite useful against hordes of enemies that spawn later on during the game. Since it is a flying unit, it can avoid colliding with enemies, allowing it to deal more damage. On two-pathed maps, only one Gift Bomber will spawn per Level 5 Elf Camp. It will go down a random path. The Gift Bomber is a flying unit. Because of this, it cannot collide with most enemies. Do note that despite being a flying unit, it cannot collide with Flying enemies, though it can still detect them. The Gift Bomber can further collide with enemies that are large, mostly major bosses. The Gift Bomber is not affected by defense, as it deals splash damage. This can make it quite useful against enemies with defense, such as the Molten Golem or Hazmat. While its collision damage is also not affected, there are very little cases where an enemy with defense is tall enough for both of them to collide. The Gift Bomber is not affected by any buff or debuff. While it may seem that Gift Bomber's ability to fly would make it immune to most abilities that deal damage, this is not the case. Because of this, the Gift Bomber will struggle against any enemy with abilities that damage units because of its low health. For example, if the Fallen King uses its Sword Swing attack, and an Gift Bomber is caught in the attack, it is instantly defeated.
Trivia
The Classic skin is based on the Sleigh enemy from Cold Ambush. This is the first and currently the only flying unit added to the game. The Gift Bomber is the only Elf Camp unit to not have Elf in its name.
