Description
The Snowball Elf is the second unit that spawns from the Elf Camp. It spawns when the Elf Camp is at Levels 1. As with other units, it starts from the end of the map path and moves towards the entrance of the map. The Snowball Elf has a spawnrate of 20 seconds. The Snowball Elf wields a snowball which it uses to attack enemies. As the snowball is a projectile, it may not hit the intended target or miss an enemy entirely. When there are enemies in its range, it will stop moving to throw snowballs at enemies. It will continue walking when there are no enemies left in its range. The Snowball Elf is replaced by the Cannoneer Elf for the Level 2 Elf Camp and by the Gunner Elf for the Level 3-4 Elf Camp. There's a limit of 4 Snowball Elves per Elf Camp.
Appearance
The Snowball Elf has dark skin and brown hair. It wears a green shirt with a brown belt and red details, green and red hat with golden stars, dark green pants and brown shoes. It wields a snowball that it attacks enemies with.
Strategy
The Snowball Elf is great for weak enemies that spawn initially during the round, like the Normal, Abnormal, Speedy or Quick. Its ranged attack also allows it to deal with enemies like the Slow and Heavy quite well. On two-pathed maps, only one Snowball Elf will spawn per Level 1 Elf Camp. It will go down a random path. The snowballs thrown by the Snowball Elf can also hit a flying enemy if that enemy gets in the way of the intended target, however, this should not be relied on. The Snowball Elf cannot collide with Ghost enemies like Souls. The Snowball Elf can deal full collision damage to enemies with defense, like the Heavy or Abnormal Boss. Do note that its ranged attack is still affected by defense. The Snowball Elf is not affected by any buff or debuff. The Snowball Elf will struggle against any enemy with abilities that damage units because of its low health. For example, if the Fallen King uses its Sword Swing attack, and an Snowball Elf is caught in the attack, it is instantly defeated.
