Overview[1]
The FNP-45 in Criminality is a suppressed pistol available at both armories. The suppressor reduces the risk of others hearing you at a distance. The FNP-45's medium fire rate and high damage output make it viable for taking out unarmored players quickly and quietly, as it only requires 3 headshots or 4 body shots.

Usage and Tactics
The FNP-45 offers a combination of high damage, moderate recoil, and a high fire rate. In CQC, it exhibits exceptional accuracy in hip-fire, although it may be outmatched by high-fire-rate guns like SMGs and Automatic Rifles. Due to its relatively low audibility at a distance, it's advisable to keep yourself away from enemies, staying at a distance to land consistent shots but not where you can be outgunned easily. The FNP-45's decent ammo capacity for a pistol is beneficial, especially if your aren't the best shot. The FNP-45 can be considered a sidegrade to the M1911, with the caveats in price, refill cost, inventory slot usage, and being exclusive to armory stores. Despite these distinctions, both pistols require the same number of shots to down an unarmored player. However, the FNP-45 offers higher fire rate, lower recoil, improved hip-fire accuracy, more ammunition and two great attachments. Against armored opponents, its performance is the same to Tier-1 armor, slightly inferior by 1-2 shots against Tier-2 armor, and superior against Tier-3 armor. Overall, the FNP-45 can be considered a jack-of-all-trades, master-of-none type of gun. It is a versatile weapon that can be used in any situation but can be outgunned by higher fire-rate weapons. Armored players may cause some issues, so always know your limitations with it and try to keep your distance based on the situation.
Attachments
The FNP-45 comes with a suppressor, which makes it difficult to be heard from medium ranges, and impossible to be heard from long ranges. It's useful to effectively and silently take down opponents. The suppressor also gives you near-invisible bullet tracers, making it harder for enemies to locate you via tracers. The FNP-45 also comes with a unique holographic sight, which gives it an edge in more precise shots instead of relying on more crude iron sights.

Patch history
The FNP-45 used to be an exclusive sidearm used by the RCU until the Criminality Update v1.2 on March 23. The original RCU variant of the FNP-45 features a 20-round capability with the ammo reserve of 60, higher fire rate, and also having 2 bullet types just like any other RCU weapons. The FNP-45 is the first in-game weapon available to the public that included custom attachments when bought (Delta Sight + Suppressor) The current suppressor attached is an Osprey 45. It's name and appearance is based off its real life counterpart FN FNP, although the game variant is heavily modified with a holographic sight and a suppressor equipped. Holo sight might make it harder to aim at longer ranges Just like the G-17, FNP-45 has fast fire-rate, so fast that clicking too fast will make it fire slower. So to use it correctly, it's needed to time your clicks and click only 4 times per second. Clicking faster than that will somehow make it fire slower. Category:Guns Category:Article stubs
