Mechanic

He has a meter above his head that increases when a Toon is not near him for some time, and decreases when one is close. When the meter is full, Glisten becomes faster and aggressive. After you finish all the Machines, he becomes aggressive immediately. Once he is enraged, there is no way to get him back to passive.

Appearance

Twisted Glisten has a broken mirror for a head, with a dull pink ribbon (which is wrapped in a bow on his Toon counterpart) tying his arms together (so he doesn't hurt Toons). His makeup is smudged, and he appears to be on the verge of tears. He also has a smaller crack part in the left and above his eye and red shadow on his face. In his enraged state, he starts crying Ichor through his visible eye, the eye becomes a darker red, matching the typical shade of Twisteds, and he breaks free from the ribbon tied on his arms. There is Ichor on his arms and his torso is split apart, held together by the Ichor. Just like his Toon counterpart, he wears white leg warmers with small pink glitter dots on them.

Personality

Twisted Glisten is one of the only Twisteds to have speech capability, alongside (and same for, if thought that he changes between his Toon and Twisted form), therefore giving him a distinct personality unlike the rest. As a literal reflection of his Toon counterpart's insecurities, Twisted Glisten appears to be in shambles once he is alone and unnoticed. He also seems to have tied his hands together with the pink bow that wraps around his Toon counterpart's waist, showing Twisted Glisten does not display any true intent of harming the Toons. Twisted Glisten directly references his Toon counterpart's reliance on other Toons to keep his insecurities at bay. However, instead of hiding it, Twisted Glisten outright displays a more raw form of this insecurity and pleads the nearby Toon to stay with him. When he is left alone for too long, or Panic Mode activates, Twisted Glisten lashes out completely, tearing apart the bow he wrapped around his arms. His attack animation, instead of being a typical strike at the Toon, shows him lunging at the Toon in desperation. This, alongside his chasing speed in Panic Mode, shows just how desperate Twisted Glisten is to keep the Toon with him as long as possible. Unlike most Twisteds, who are simply counterparts of their Toon counterparts overcome by Ichor, Twisted Glisten is the sheer embodiment of Glisten's one true fear—his fear of loneliness.

Strategies

A good strategy is to put a designated Toon in charge of watching Twisted Glisten, which allows the rest of the team to focus on the Floor as normal. As Twisted Glisten is not very fast in his passive state, most Toons should be capable of accompanying him. He wanders around aimlessly, sometimes into the path of other Twisteds, so if you're accompanying him, be aware of your surroundings. If he walks by a Machine, either leave him and complete it quickly, or ask someone else to babysit him while you do the Machine. His meter does not fill very quickly, taking about 70 seconds before he becomes enraged, so leaving him alone for a little while to escape other Twisteds or when a teammate is on the last Machine is viable. If he wanders into the path of a distractor, don't go too close. Instead, wait for him to leave their area and resume accompanying him. Keep in mind, while and 's Active Abilities are being used, Twisted Glisten's meter will not decrease. As he instantly enrages when the last Machine is completed, good communication is key. Alert your teammates when you're on the last or even second-to-last Machine to ensure Twisted Glisten's comforter is not caught off-guard. When the last Machine is being readied, you should make your way away from him. It's better to use his Trinket, because it helps you escape from him in his enraged state during Panic Mode. You can also use, which has a similar effect, but do note Alarm's effect only lasts for 10 seconds. If you're doing a solo run, it's recommended to stay near him and do Machines as you come across them.

Twisted Glisten and share some similarities. Both their names start with G. They both have dialogue. They have the same amount of dialogue, being 17. They both have a passive and enraged state. They both have a meter showing the time left until enraging. They both get enraged in Panic Mode. Both their Toon counterparts have a 5 Extraction Speed. They are both male. Twisted Glisten, Twisted Gourdy, Twisted Sprout, potentially Twisted Dazzle, potentially Twisted Goob, and maybe even are currently the only Twisteds to visibly still have some sanity left. Twisted Glisten is the second Twisted to have two states, being his passive and enraged state, with the first being Twisted Razzle & Dazzle (hostile and non-hostile state) and (Capsule and Twisted form), the third being (not possessing and possessing Machine), the fourth being (in non-Blackout and in Blackout Floors), and the fifth being Twisted Gourdy (also passive and enraged state). Twisted Glisten was the first Twisted to appear on the Daily Twisted Board. It's been proven you don't need to enrage Twisted Glisten to gain 5% Research on him (or 10% as ). Just being in his Line of Sight, even while passive, will award you the Research, Tapes, and Events' Currencies. The same happens to Twisted Connie (there's no need to take damage from her), even if she is in a Machine. Twisted Glisten's meter fills up faster the more Toons there are at that moment. This makes taking care of Twisted Glisten during runs with fewer people slightly easier as the time until he becomes enraged is exactly 70 seconds in solo runs.
