The Depthseeker Rod is a easy to obtain well rounded rod with a low price of. It is located next to the Merchant at Atlantis near Atlantis's spawn area. (The player may enter Atlantis after completing Captain Neptune's quest.) It is currently the best mid game rod, outperforming the Arctic Rod and it's main rival, the Avalanche Rod by 15% and 5%. And arguably the most cost efficient rod due to the low price for it's amazing stats, with Champions Rod being better stats wise, but significantly more expensive. It has a passive which grants +5% progress speed.

The best Enchantments on this Rod are: For faster or instant lure times, Swift or preferably Hasty. For increased luck, Lucky, Divine or best of all Immortal Note that Immortal is an exalted enchant, and will require, which are better used on late-game rods. To catch a Megalodon, use Unbreakable or Herculean.
