Strategy
This profession and the Presidential Train are a good combination because Lincoln's Ghost corpse can be sold for. This means each kill near the train is worth.
Do not use this class for the Fistful of Dollars challenge since it would effectively just be the None class.
High Roller can collect Money Bags at 150% value and drop them for Tycoon to collect.
This is significantly less inconvenient after the Item Rework Update since Money Bags can now be picked up almost instantly.
Tycoon strives best at mid to late game due to both damage and health buffs.
Pros & cons
Buffs affect both health and damage of melee and most ranged weapons. They are are permanent unless the money is spent.
Can benefit from full damage potential without the risk of death unlike the Survivalist who must constantly be at low health to do so.
Extremely powerful mid to late game, where the player likely has a lot of spare money.
The player can earn large amounts of Money by raiding POIs or Towns and selling the Valuables obtained from them.

Patch history
The class is very similar to the Survivalist class.
The Tycoon’s hat is the same as the Musician’s, but golden.
Similar to other classes that boosted ranged weapon damage, the Tycoon used to deal double damage with them with just. The Survivalist's was originally a bug, but it was turned into a feature. Meanwhile, the Tycoon's, which was also a bug, was changed such that it would still have a max stat of tripled ranged damage but doubled at instead of.
At Run Objectives update, the Tycoon class got bugged again, and deals double ranged damage for just.
For some time (unknown which update it was), Tycoon used have negative bonus damage to melees.
