Overview[1]
3x Barbed Wire; 3x Metal Sheet; 1x Helmet The Alamo is a defensive Class in Dead Rails.
The Alamo class costs 50 Bonds to unlock. It is a defensive class that specializes in early fortification, spawning in with 3 pieces of Sheet Metal and 3 Barbed Wires. It also comes with a Helmet, providing players with some increased defense. While these fortifications might be useful during the early game, the Alamo's lack of abilities makes it less useful afterwards. 1x Shovel 3x Barbed Wire 3x Sheet Metal 1x Helmet Spawns with 3 Sheet Metals and Barbed Wires, providing good defense during the early game. Spawns with a Helmet, providing some damage reduction in the early game. Can be helpful for new players and teams during early game. No passive abilities. Once the Sheet Metals and Barbed Wires are used, the only benefit left is the Helmet. Sheet metal and barbed wires are easily accessible in mid to late game, which makes the starter ones only useful for early game.

Strategies
The supplies given for one Alamo is usually not enough to fully defend the train. Make sure to only defend places that really count. This Alamo is useful when doing the Pacifist challenge since you can buy Coal at the start, block off the entrance to the cabin, and head straight to the end. Note that you must leave the cabin momentarily to pull the crank. It is recommended to take one of the Sheet Metals to use as a shield. Turn the crank, get inside, and weld the entrance shut as fast as possible. It is highly recommended to use your Sheet Metal to block off the windows and entrance to the Train cab. Just remember to leave a small gap so you are still able to see and move in or out. Place your Barbed Wires in areas where enemies might climb to prevent them from doing so. The Alamo is better suited for multiplayer runs than solo ones. If multiple players decide to choose The Alamo, then it becomes possible to fortify the entire train right at the start. Note that other players cannot move an Alamo's defense items. Make sure you place them in a way that doesn't obstruct teammates.
Notes
The Alamo's Barbed Wires and Sheet Metals cannot be unwelded, picked up, or put in a Sack by anyone except for their owner.

Trivia
The Alamo class's name is a reference to the real-world Fortress of Alamo, an old Spanish mission-turned-fortress that served as the site for the Battle of the Alamo in 1836. The Alamo class is notorious for being a fan of griefers, because they can trap players in the train cab with Sheet Metals and then kill them with dynamite. This is especially effective because the Sheet Metals cannot be unwelded by anyone except the Alamo who welded them. This is the only class in game to include the word "The" in it.
