Heavyweight Zombie; Opening the Office Vault using the displayed code in the paper dropped by the Heavyweight Zombie The Bank Combo, also known as a Bank Note, is a Puzzle item in Dead Rails.
Bank Combos are dropped by Banker Zombies. They serve as the primary method to open Bank vaults found in Towns. A Bank Combo appears as a rectangular piece of paper with five black numbers written on it. Bank Combos display a 5 digit code specific to a Bank. At the corresponding Bank, players can rotate the vault wheel and open the vault by dragging the numbered handles to the top positions. The entered code is displayed in the wheel's center. The vault door opens if the code is correct. A Bank Combo is also dropped by Heavyweight Zombie and it's main use is of opening the safe inside The Office (the room with trophies) of the Boxing Gym.

Patch history
The Permanent Marker font is used for the numbers. Dragging a Bank Combo might cause it to clip through surfaces, rendering it inaccessible. Previously, Bank Combos dropped by Banker Zombies revived via the Strange Mask or Jade Sword displayed the number "0". This bug has since been patched. Sterling uses a ripped version of the Bank Combo, with 5 separate digits. Technically, it is possible to open a bank safe without the code. However, this will likely require an extreme amount of time or luck due to the number of possible combinations. There are 7776 possible vault code combinations, calculated by the equation 65 (representing six numbers and a duration of five, with repeats allowed). If no repeats were present, the quantity of possible codes would be 720. This is a result of the permutation 6P5. The name is actually shortened, as "combo" is a common abbreviation for "combination." Category:Puzzle Items
