Description
Mark I is the first vehicle that spawns from the Mecha Base. It spawns when the Mecha Base is at Level 0 or Level 1. As with other units, it starts from the end of the map path and moves towards the entrance of the map. The Mark I has a spawnrate of 45 seconds at Level 0, which is shortened to 30 second at Level 1. Mark I can attack enemies with its turret. When the associated Mecha Base is at Level 1, the Mark I can also shoot rockets that deal splash damage.
Appearance
Mark I is a tall light blue mechanized walker. It has long mechanized legs and its operator sits at the top of the walker. The operator can shoot bullets from its turret and rockets from its launcher when the associated Mecha Base is at Level 1. The operator itself has tan skin, its torso and legs were black, and it wears white goggles.
Strategy
Mark I can easily wipe out hordes of enemies. After the associated Mecha Base is upgraded to Level 1, this job becomes much easier as Mark I can now deal splash damage. On two-pathed maps, only one Mark I will spawn per Level 0/1 Mecha Base. It will go down a random path. Mark I can deal full collision damage to enemies with defense, like the Giant Boss. However, Mark I's ranged damage is still affected by enemies with defense. As with other units, the firerate and range of Mark I cannot be boosted by the Commander or DJ Booth, respectively. Mark I will struggle against some enemies with abilities that damage units. For example, if the legacy Fallen King uses its Stomp attack, and a Mark I is caught in the attack, it is instantly destroyed, as the Stomp deals 500 damage. The Mark I can be effective against hidden enemies, as it has hidden detection. The Mark I cannot collide with ghost enemies, like the Soul. Mark I can collide with the Balloon and Lead Balloon. However, Mark I is instantly destroyed upon collision, and only the balloons on the respective enemies are destroyed. The enemies are still free to walk on the ground.
Patch history
Mark I replaced the XR600, which existed before Hardcore Testing BETA. Mark I was made exclusive in Overhaul Update as it is only used to test units in Hardcore Testing BETA. The goggles worn by the operator inside Mark I are a re-textured version of the accessory from the Roblox catalog.
