Description
Mark V is the fifth vehicle that spawned from the Mecha Base. It spawns when the Mecha Base is at Level 5. As with other units, it starts from the end of the map path and moves towards the entrance of the map. Mark V has a spawnrate of 30 seconds. It can attack enemies with its turret and rocket launcher.
Appearance
Mark V is a tall black mechanized walker. It has neon blue parts to suggest futurism. It has long mechanized legs and its operator sits at the top of the walker. The operator can shoot rockets from its quad launcher and bullets from its dual turrets. Bullets are belt-fed into the turrets and a windscreen protects the operator. The operator itself has tan skin, its torso and legs are black, and it wears white goggles.
Strategy
Mark V can easily wipe out hordes of enemies due to its high DPS and rocket launcher. Due to its long range, it can easily attack enemies from a long distance. On maps with multiple paths, only one Mark V will spawn per Level 5 Mecha Base. It will go down a random path. Mark V can deal full collision damage to enemies with defense, like the Giant Boss. However, Mark V's ranged damage is still affected by enemies with defense. As with other units, the firerate and range of Mark V cannot be boosted by the Commander or DJ Booth, respectively. Mark V can cope well against enemies that deal damage to units with their abilities due to its high health, only dying to extremely high amounts of damage that only appear in events. The Mark V can be very effective against hidden and flying enemies, because of its high DPS and detections detection. However, the Mark V cannot detect or collide with Ghost enemies.
Patch history
Mark V replaced the XR901, which existed before Hardcore Testing BETA. Mark V was made exclusive in Overhaul Update as it is only used to test units in Hardcore Testing BETA. The goggles worn by the operator inside Mark V are a re-textured version of the accessory from the Roblox catalog. Mark V, alongside Mark IV, used to have the highest range in the game, totalling at 100.
