Description

XR901 was the fifth vehicle that spawned from the Mecha Base. It spawned when the Mecha Base was at Level 5. As with other units, it started from the end of the map path and moved towards the entrance of the map. The XR901 had a spawnrate of 45 seconds. XR901 could attack enemies with its turrets.

Appearance

XR901 was a black tracked mech with neon blue parts to symbolize futurism. It had tracks covered by armor. The operator was protected by a windshield and could shoot bullets using the belt-fed guns. The operator itself had yellow skin, a black torso and white goggles.

Strategy

XR901 can easily wipe out hordes of enemies due to its high DPS. Due to its long range, it can easily attack enemies from a long distance. On two-pathed maps, only one XR901 will spawn per Level 5 Mecha Base. It will go down a random path in some maps, like Infernal Abyss, but may always go down one specific path in other maps, like Badlands. The XR901 can deal full collision damage to shielded enemies, like the Summoner Boss and Templar. Even more interestingly, damage from its turrets is not capped, meaning that the XR901 can operate at maximum DPS against these enemies. As with other units, the firerate and range of XR901 cannot be boosted by the Commander or DJ Booth, respectively. XR901 cannot be stunned by any enemy, making it very useful against such enemies. It also makes it very useful against major bosses, like the Fallen King or Gold Titan. While XR901 can collide with Hidden Bosses and Shadow Bosses, it cannot detect them.
