War Horse

Animal, Exclusive EntityEntitiesDead Rails

Overview[1]

War, or War Horse is one of the 4 Horses of the Apocalypse in Dead Rails. It is the first Apocalyptic Horse to spawn in The Wild, alongside with Death, Famine and Pestilence.

The War Horse has a magma-textured body and a golden saddle. It constantly emits fire particles. It can be found from 10,000 to 20,000 meters, ridden by a Covenant Knight and with 5 burning Runner Zombies surrounding it. While ridden by a player, the War Horse sets all nearby enemies and Soldiers on fire. Other friendly entities will not be set on fire and burning enemies will be immune to the fire damage*. ( Friendly entities summoned by the Eggslinger class will still be burned by War horse, It is unknown if this is a bug.)

Strategy

The war horse is extremely good at clearing towns with little effort. being able to burn all zombies in the vicinity with somewhat decent range. When using the war horse (or any of the other Apocalypse Horses) it its highly advisied to try and kill or atleast stay away from ranged enemies as they can kill the horse if not carefull, this is especialy bad because the Apocalypse Horses are uniqe to each run.

Trivia

Unlike regular leather saddles, the saddles of the Apocalypse Horses are completely gold and will always be attached to them by default. The golden saddles currently do not exist outside of being attached to the Apocalypse Horses, and therefore cannot be used on anything besides them. It is unknown if they have additional effects besides being visually distinct. This coincidentally has a similar texture and properties to another entity in Ricomiller's other game (Crab Lab). Enemies set on fire start to have their skin darken until eventually it turns completely black. However, their faces are still slightly visible.
