Overview

Horse Carts can only be found in Barns. They can be attached to a Horse to be pulled by the latter. Additionally, players using the Horse class are also able to place the Horse Cart onto themselves. Horse Carts cannot be attached to Apocalypse Horses. Due to a bug, items cannot be welded to Horse Carts normally. To fix this, weld an explosive to the Train, weld the Horse Cart to the explosive (not the Train), then activate the explosive. The Horse Cart should detach while still maintaining the "welded" tag, allowing items to be welded to it again. Since items with the "welded" tag cannot be dragged, it is highly recommended to have a Horse before performing this trick.

Strategies

Avoid welding too many items (especially corpses) to Horse Carts since they can glitch out, resulting in all items welded on it being lost. A good strategy when playing in a team is to weld a Maxim Gun or Cannon to the Horse Cart along with some Ammo. One player drives the cart while the other mans the Turret, allowing players to group up Enemies and easily gun them down. Keep in mind that this strategy requires at least two players. It is possible to solo this strategy, though it is much harder as the player must constantly be switching between driver and gunner. Another possible way to solo this is to revive an Outlaw and placing said Outlaw on the Maxim Gun or Cannon. Note that sometimes Outlaws will not sit on a Cannon, Turret, or even a Chair. Also note that Outlaws only use the Ammo currently connected to the Horse Cart, and will have to be unwelded and rewelded to use newly welded Ammunition. Players can weld Chairs to the Horse Cart to allow other players to ride it without falling off, functioning as a mini train of sorts. However, this comes at the cost of storage space, though this may be somewhat negated by welding other large objects onto the cart. Horse Carts can be welded to other Horse Carts. This can lead to players being able to create a sort of Horse train. However, welded horse carts may not function as intended due to how the game's welding system works. The Horse Cart is effective for Large Towns, as players don't need to continue running back and forth towards the Train to weld items they can't fit into their sack.

Trivia

The Horse Cart can be unequipped in the following ways: Another player grabbing it. A player placing it into their Sack. The user jumping. However, it may re-equip itself, so jumping at least twice is recommended to ensure removal. At the moment, Trains and Horse Carts are the only two means of transportation in the game.
