Priest Class; 3 Component; 2 Holy Metal The Crucifix, also called the Cross, is a utility Weapon in Dead Rails.
The Crucifix is a powerful, single-use Weapon that can instantly kill nearly every Enemy in the game. It activates when thrown by the player and whenever an Enemy comes in contact, it spawns multiple Lightning Bolts that deal a massive amount of damage. While powerful, the Crucifix is quite rare, so saving it for tough fights or selling it is highly recommended. The Crucifix occasionally spawns in Churches in Towns. Additionally, the Priest class spawns in with 2 Crucifixes.

Strategies
The Crucifix can't be picked up and stored in the inventory like other Weapons, though it can be carried around, welded to the Train and be stored in the Sack. While the Crucifix can't instantly kill Werewolves, using it on them is still recommended due to its high damage. Crucifixes can be sold for $50 each, the same amount as a Gold Bar, so selling them is highly advised for those who don't care about using them as Weapons. When the Scientist Zombies spawn in the Tesla Lab, you can make short work of the Zombies by dropping it on them. Using it at Castle will be extremely effective. It is recommended to use this when there's a big group of zombies, as it clears them out. Weld this in driver's cabin to prevent wasting it due to random entity stepping on it.
Trivia
The Crucifix can be used to recharge the Electrocutioner. The Crucifix used to sell for $75. One can still sell a Crucifix at this price if they play as the High Roller. Crucifixes are visible in the dark, unlike other items. This is intentionally to highlight the presence of them. Unlike regular Lightning Strikes, the player is immune to the Lightning spawned from a Crucifix. The same is true with Holy Water. The Priest’s Crucifixes can't be sold due to them being classed as starter items. It uses a very similar (if not the exact same) model of the Crucifix from the Roblox game Doors.
