Description

The Narrator was the final boss The Final Act Event. It had far higher health than the Producer but walks slightly slower than it. As it was a Boss enemy in the event, most stalls were either weaker or did not work on it at all. The Narrator has five abilities: Hand Laser, which fires ten thin laser beams from the fingertips of both hands. These apply a 25% Fatigue Debuff and Scared Debuff which last 22.5 seconds. Hand Slam, where both hands raise up and curl into fists, then slam the ground stunning towers for 6 seconds and dealing 75,000 damage to units in 12.5 radius. Hand Summon, which the Narrator spawns three MiniHands with a 1.5 second delay between each one. Boss Base Attack, the Narrator becomes immune to all damage and twirls its wand, summoning an orange fireball that spins around the Narrator for a few seconds. When the fireball reaches the tip of his wand, it uses it to strike the base and dealing damage equal to 40% of the max base health, accounting for the max possible Medic overheal but not the Skills overheal. This can be stopped with the four Spotlights aimed at Narrator, which if done right should make the Narrator get highlighted. Dichromatic Crossfire, a rage mode ability that happens at half health. In it, both hands' index and middle fingers fire a purple and an orange infernal beam separately, which rotate in random directions for 3 seconds. The Narrator also temporarily gains the Tank attribute.

Logbook Description

"The Narrator is a performer from the Old World who used to be the right-hand man of Lord Exo. After being used for his revival, he achieved his theatrical moment on stage, striking a deal with Commander. He relies on his hands Righty and Lefty who were empowered by Lord Exo, making them some of the most powerful entities in existence."

Appearance

The Narrator has a dark grey body with stubby-legs from the belowknee down, and a white half-mask face, having a golden-like cut on the cheek of said mask, and having a crescent moonlike shape that curves upwards that is a reddish pink. And to add to its legs, it has two edges at its ankles that look like undefined small wings. Has no mouth on the other side of its halfmasked face, but it has a sharp white mouth a fourpointed star acting as its eye there too. The Narrator also wears a dark velvet suit with gold accents, with gold buttons and a dark red jabot with a golden star, having a dark velvet top hat with red feathers and two golden lines, one on the brim of its hat, and another one on the top. It has golden shoulder-pad epaulettes, having a jacket with flared out collars, the edge of said collars having gold too, with a gold line on each wristband of the jacket, also having ruffled ends at the very end of each wrist. It has a tail coat connected to his jacket, which has golden edges. It also has white gloves. It carries a magician stick with its right hand. Behind it, it has two giant floating hands named Lefty and Righty. These are giant disembodied human hands wearing a white glove.

Strategy

As this enemy only appears through Sandbox mode, no strategy section is made for its current version. Instead, a strategy section for the one that appeared without Sandbox mode in The Narratorium is listed instead. High DPS towers, like the Ranger, Turret, Accelerator, Warlock or Golden Minigunner. The Ranger is especially useful, as they have map-wide range and immunity to the stuns from the Narrator's attacks. The Medic can also be used to shield normally not stun immune towers from these attacks. The Commander, DJ Booth and Mercenary Base can be used to boost the statistics of these towers. The Narrator can damage the base health with its Boss Base Attack ability, dealing 40% of the max base health as damage. To stop this, players need to redirect all the Spotlights so that they point at the Narrator. You can target multiple Spotlights at once; doing so is easier than targeting one Spotlight at a time. The Narrator will gain a yellow outline if all of the Spotlights are successfully redirected to him, allowing player to know they succeeded stopped him from using this ability. Due to the base damage being 40%, this means you can under most circumstances miss stopping the ability twice. It is not possible to survive for longer with the help of the Medic, as the ability accounts for its overheal. The ability does not increase how much damage it deals when the players has overheal from Skills, meaning that in Easy mode, it is possible to increase how many hits you can take before dying.
