Description

The Korblox Deathwalker was the final boss of The Hunt: Mega Edition Event. It also appears in The Classic Event missions as part of Sandbox mode. It has a high amount of health but a slow speed, the slowest out of all the enemies in the event. The Korblox Deathwalker has three abilities: The first is Swing which makes it swing its scythe at towers in an obtuse arc, stunning towers for 4 seconds and dealing 1,000 damage to units. Its second ability is Meteor, which makes it conjure ten blue meteors around the map, which stun any tower caught in their explosions for 5 seconds and deal 500 damage to units caught in them. The explosions itself have an explosion radius of 4. Its third ability is Laser Sweep, where it fires a large death beam in a 360 angle from its body, stunning towers for 8 seconds and dealing 10,000 damage to units at a very fast tick. As the damage is tick based, it can deal far more damage than just the 10,000, even being capable of killing the Molten Monster by just using the Laser Sweep ability once.

Logbook Description

"The Deathwalker is one of the most powerful sorcerers in the history of The Korblox Empire. It transcends mortality, and the mere sight of it leaves enemies frozen in fear. After a battle, it is believed that the Deathwalker guides the fallen Korblox warriors into the afterlife while raising the souls of Redcliff soldiers, corrupting them into its devoted followers."

Appearance

The Korblox Deathwalker is a large ghostly figure which only has skeleton arms and parts of legs. Its torso is replaced by a giant flame and it has no head, only blue flaming eyes. It wears a brown hood with a cape that has four black wings attached to it. On its arms it has blue shoulder-pads and armbands with grey accents. It also has a brown belt with blue crystals and a brown cloth attached to the back of it. It wields a large brown and grey scythe.

Event Strategy

As this enemy only appears through Sandbox mode, no strategy section is made for its current version. Instead, a strategy section for the one that appeared without Sandbox mode in Korblox Temple is listed instead. Towers with high DPS, like the Minigunner, Turret or Pursuit can be used to take this down. As it has a rather low amount of health, tower with lower DPS like the Militant, Mortar, Rocketeer or Medic can also be used to take it down. The Commander and DJ Booth can be used to boost the statistics of your towers. Stun immune towers can be used here, as they will be unaffected by the Korblox Deathwalker's stuns. High DPS towers such as the Minigunner, Pursuit, Ranger, Turret and Accelerator are recommended to deal with the Korblox Deathwalker. The Pursuit and Ranger are especially useful here, as they are immune to being stunned by it. The Commander and DJ Booth can be used to boost the statistics of your towers. The Medic can be used to cleanse stuns from your towers.

Trivia

Its Laser Sweep ability has the highest damage dealt to units in the entire game, due to it being dealt multiple times during the ability. The damage from this ability is so high that it can kill a Molten Monster in one ability usage, which means the ability deals at least 130,000 total damage to units, but likely more. The Korblox Deathwalker model is taken from a bundle.
