Cost: 75 Bonds The Hunter can be purchased from the Tailor for 75 Bonds. It is one of the 3 classes that came in the 7/6/2025 update. In addition to a Shovel, it spawns with 1 Crossbow, 2 Bear Traps, and 1 Arrows. 1x Shovel 1x Crossbow 2x Bear Trap 1x Arrows Spawns with a Crossbow and Arrows. The Crossbow deals decent damage, which can be used as a self defense weapons, or used to take down more dangerous zombie variants. The Bear Traps players spawn with are very useful in immobilizing dangerous Enemies, such as Runner Zombies and Werewolves. Werewolves can be sold for $20, which can be useful to get extra money early game. Due to the increased quantity of Werewolves, the Werewolf Hunter challenge is easier to obtain. Necromancers and players with the Jade Sword may find it easier to obtain Werewolf allies. Every wild Wolf is replaced with a Werewolf, making wolf packs significantly more dangerous. This trade off for one player to receive extra starting supplies is generally not worth it, as one wolf pack early game can easily end runs. Wolves cannot be tamed because they don't spawn. Crossbow is only effective on weaker enemies, such as Zombies or Vampires. Expensive, at a price of 75 Bonds.

Strategies
Hunter is one of the best classes to use for the Werewolf Hunter Challenge, although it is advised teammates with damage and/or support classes due to the risk. The Bear Traps can be used to reliably kill more dangerous enemies early game, though they become pretty obsolete once players obtain guns. Do not rely much on the Crossbow since it is only useful against weaker enemies, though it can prove to be more useful when fighting Towns or Outlaws early game. This class is risky to use, as wolf packs may contain up to 7 Wolves. It is recommended not to use this class when playing with a new player, as the werewolves can endanger the new player. Do not use this class in combination with Packmaster since the lack of Wolves will make its ability completely useless.

The Crossbow has a bug where if an enemy gets close to you that makes your shots fail to land. This class is considered to be one of the worst by the community due to the high price and the disadvantages of the class significantly outweighing the advantages.
