MapsNatural Disaster Survival

Overview[1]

Rakish Refinery is one of the maps in Natural Disaster Survival. The map has a large chimney, some storage tanks, some boiler rooms and a house.

There is a light gray path at the front of the map, and to the left of the path are three boiler rooms with glowing rods on them. The boiler rooms are connected together with pipes. To the right are four white storage tanks lined up neatly. The path turns left, and it leads to a long red house and a tall chimney with stairs leading to the top.

Surviving Tips

Acid Rain - Hide under the stairs of the chimney. Going inside the red building is another option, but it is not recommended, as the ceiling can easily be destroyed by the rain. Avalanche - Go behind the building or find a cave in the Mountain. Blizzard - Go to the corner of the house. Deadly Virus - Depends on what the infected players do. Earthquake - Stay away from any buildings and jump repeatedly on the grass. It's recommended to avoid heading to higher floors or elevated areas during this disaster, as the shaking tends to be more intense at greater heights. A fall from these areas could be instant death. Fire - Stay away from the fire and stand on the grass, away from fiery bricks. Flash Flood - This disaster can be very hard to survive in this map, since the highest part of this map is not stable and could collapse, killing anyone on it. The best way to survive this is to stay on the roof of the boiler rooms and try not to die. The Balloon is recommended to survive this disaster, otherwise, it is impossible to survive Meteor Shower - Find a suitable shelter on the map, or just stay outside and dodge the meteors. Sandstorm - Go the opposite way of where the bricks are being blown. Thunderstorm - Hide under the ladders or the stairs. Tornado - Stay away from the tornado. Tsunami - This disaster can also be tricky to survive on this map, since the chimney can fall into the ocean, killing everyone on it. The best way to survive is to climb halfway to the top of the chimney, and when the tsunami comes, jump over it. You can also stand on the boiler rooms or the house.

Patch history

It is very difficult to survive a Flash Flood without a Balloon, because the only tallest structure is the chimney, and it can easily collapse and kill you. It was added during the development of the game before it was officially released. Players are guaranteed to die if they drop down the chimney even while equipping the balloon. However, you can slow your fall by moving towards the side so that your avatar presses against it throughout the duration of the fall. If you do that, you will likely survive. (Note that this only works while holding the balloon, otherwise it is instant death for non-balloon players) This map is shown alongside Volcanic Eruption in one of the thumbnails of Natural Disaster Survival.
