Prison Panic

MapsNatural Disaster Survival

Overview[1]

Prison Panic is one of the maps in Natural Disaster Survival. The map has a large prison surrounded by walls, a fence covered with barbed wire which, upon making contact with a player, depletes 30 HP from them, and a few trees on each sides.

The entrance of the map has a fence with barbed wire that can damage you and take 30% of your health, and it also has a security booth near the gate. Ahead is a wall with a gate that leads to the prison, and to the left there is also a set of stairs that leads to a watchtower. If you go inside the prison, you will be greeted with a hallway with house plants and a receptionist area. To the right is a snapshot room, and if you step on the orange platform you will wear a prisoner suit and will be sent to a random prison cell. Cells have a bed and toilet. To the left is a gym with a door that leads outside to a yard, and there are also stairs that lead to the cafeteria and a kitchen. There is another set of stairs that leads to a hallway overlooking the prison cells. There is a climbable rope at the side of one of the walls, and a few tall pine trees are surrounding the prison.

Surviving Tips

Acid Rain - Hide in the bottom floor. Avalanche - Run to the opposite side of the Avalanche, or alternatively, on top of the mountain to keep yourself devoid of snow bricks. Blizzard - Hide in a corner or in a cell. Deadly Virus - Depends on what the infected players do, generally try to avoid people. Earthquake - Stay away from the prison and avoid the bricks. Fire - Exit the building and stay on the grass, away from the burning blocks or if you're on the roof use the ropes that lead to safety. Flash Flood - Same as tsunami. Meteor Shower - Stay inside, or go outside and dodge the meteors. Sandstorm - Go to the opposite side of where the bricks are blowing. Thunderstorm - Go to the lower points of the prison. Tornado - Stay away from the tornado. Tsunami - Go to the higher points of the prison. Volcanic Eruption - Go on the volcano or go far away from the volcano. Going in the prison is also an option, as the prison is big, meaning there is a lower chance a lava brick will hit you.

Tips

Blizzards are easy to survive in this map, as the building is large, and there are lots of place where you can hide, including the cells. Go inside of the cells before the disaster warning is issued, because it may be a bad idea to go inside of the cell during the disaster. Fires can be hard to survive in this map, especially in the cells. To survive a fire, you can jump out of the cells and leave the building. You can easily escape from the prison cells by having a skinny model or hitbox and going through the bars, going through the bars with shift lock or moving your perspective to 3rd person and face yourself so that you can see the front of the cell and you can open the door handle. If the disaster is a Fire, Flash Flood, or Tsunami, do not get yourself arrested, as this will likely trap you in your cell unless it has an escape route. A player can get out of a cell either by going sideways into the gap between the bars or by zooming out of the cell and clicking the door handle. If the building is on fire try aiming for the ropes on top of the building and click on the rope coil which will deploy a rope allowing for safety. An Earthquake on Prison Panic can cause extreme lag and severe performance drops on lower-end devices due to the presence of blocky slopes. The same is true for Raving Raceway and Manic Mansion.

Trivia

Out of all the maps, this map has the most bricks, making it one of the hardest or easiest maps to survive in depending on the disaster. This map was added on May 21, 2018. The number on your prisoner suit will always be 247363. The fire always starts at the grills. If you have a T-shirt on your avatar, it will not be removed if the prison suit is put on. Once you get the prisoner suit, you will have it for the rest of the game, however, you lose it if you die or reset. You can interact with the ropes on the roof. These allow you to escape the prison via climbing. You can interact with the basketball in the courtyard. This is the first and only map that can damage players by conditions other than falling, which are the barbwires, before the disaster warning appears. The map can arguably be considered one of the most complex maps in Natural Disaster Survival, mainly due to its several unique functions that help it stand out from other maps. It's nearly impossible for its structure to collapse when there's an Avalanche, since the structure is surrounded by walls in which protects the main structure from collapsing. That's not the case when there's a Tsunami, or Flash Flood. Blue Hammer failures cause players to fall through the map into the ocean, preventing the prisoner outfit system from working properly.
