Description
Ducky D00M III, internally referred to as Ducky D00M 3, was a Boss enemy that appeared in Bathroom Approach as part of the Ducky Revenge Event. It is the final boss of the Easy difficulty for the event, and the third Boss the player encounters in the Hard difficulty. It has a high amount of health, decent amount of Defense and a very slow speed. Ducky D00M III has three abilities: The first one, Rocket Barrage, has it fire out 10 rockets from its rocket launchers at towers and units in its range of 30 and minimal range of 15. These rockets stun towers for 5 seconds, apply a 30% Fatigue Debuff to towers for 10 seconds and deal 500 damage per missile to units. The second ability is Chainsaw Slash, where it pulls out two chainsaws and starts breathing out fire at towers and units in its range of 10. This stuns towers for 6 seconds and deals 5,000 damage to units with each tick. The third and last ability is Minigun Spray, which makes it pull out two miniguns from under its wings and then begins firing at towers and units in its range of 20. This stuns towers for 8 seconds and deals 50 damage to units every 0.05 seconds.
Logbook Description
"Ducky D00M is the creation of Nerd Duck that is geared towards getting revenge on the TDS team for deactivating their portal and causing their realm to suffer. With the help of the other ducklings and rough schematics, he managed to put together a weapon worthy of destroying his enemies."
Appearance
Ducky D00M III is a giant duck mech which in the Easy difficulty is powered by a God Cube fragment. It has a mostly black body with red legs and small grey metal reinforcements. On its torso, it has a small hatch, with the inside containing an operating room for the mech. On the sides of the torso, it has two wings, which contain hidden chainsaws, miniguns and rocket launchers, all used to attack towers and units. On its head, it wears a spiked helmet and a grey exhaust pipe. It has neon red eyes and an orange beak, out of which it can breathe out fire. It has grey treadmill feet which it uses to move on the path. These treadmills have spikes on them.
Event Strategy
As this enemy only appears through Sandbox mode, no strategy section is made for its current version. Instead, a strategy section for the one that appeared without Sandbox mode in Bathroom Approach is listed instead. Ducky D00M III spawns on the orange path in the Hard difficulty and on the yellow path in the Easy difficulty. This means that in the Easy difficulty, you do not need to focus your DPS on the right side as much, though in the Hard difficulty you will need some defenses on the other side, as waves continue past Wave 20 and the Nerd Ducky can jump between sides. High DPS towers like the Ranger, Pursuit, Golden Minigunner, Turret or Accelerator are recommended against this. As the Ranger and Pursuit are stun immune, they are immune to most of its attacks except Rocket Barrage, as while stun immune, they are not fully debuff immune. The Commander and DJ Booth can be used to boost the DPS of these towers. Due to a bug, burn and freeze defense dropping towers, like the Pyromancer, Freezer or Cryomancer, can be used to drop its defense, allowing your towers to deal more damage to it. Other sources of defense dropping, these being the Electroshocker, Toxic Gunner and DJ Booth cannot be used, as they work as intended and do not decrease Boss enemy defense. The Medic can be used to shield towers from stuns, but it cannot be used to help with the Fatigue Debuff applied by Ducky D00M III's Rocket Barrage ability.
