Description

Kronus was the first major boss that appeared in Blind Faith as part of the Null & Void Event. It had higher health than majority of the enemies in the event, though it was also one of the slowest. Kronus has four abilities: Time Scale, which makes it change the Time Scale of the match to 0.2x, though Kronus will continue to walk at normal speed. During this period, the entire map will turn grey and Time Scale will no longer be possible to change by the player. Sweeping Ice makes Kronus spin its staff in the direction of a tower, summoning in an aftershock of ice that freezes towers for 5 seconds and deals 2,000 damage to units. Ice Storm, where Kronus points its staff in the air, summoning 25 icicles from the sky that freeze towers for 5 seconds and deal 1,000 damage to units. Summon has Kronus point its staff, which summons in random enemies for 2 seconds. These can be the the Null Crook Boss (80% chance, 0.45 second delay), Null Warden (5% chance, 0.6 second delay) and Null Electroshocker (15% chance, 0.5 second delay).

Logbook Description

"When Trick or Threat Town was attacked, three brothers were saved by TDS from Lord Sinister. But the Town’s reputation was destroyed- some said it was too dangerous to visit. As the brothers left, Kronus found a God Shard that was left behind, along with Narrator. That’s when Narrator promised that Lord Exo would rebuild the town, and the brothers could live together once more."

Appearance

Kronus is one of the Children of Exo. It is a figure shrouded in a red cloak, with cybernetic elements across its body, such as its mechanical left arm. Kronus also wears a grey mask, concealing its face, with what appears to be bullets crossed along its body. Kronus has a neon-green hourglass on its back, as well as wielding a staff with a shard of the God Cube.

Event Strategy

As this enemy only appears through Sandbox mode, no strategy section is made for its current version. Instead, a strategy section for the one that appeared without Sandbox mode in Blind Faith is listed instead. High DPS towers like the Accelerator, Turret, Ranger or Pursuit are recommended here. As Kronus uses freezing attacks, stun immune towers do not have a large advantage here since it does not make them immune to freeze, though they can still be useful due to Kronus summoning in Null Electroshockers. The Commander and DJ Booth can be used to boost the statistics of your towers. The Medic cannot be used here, as it cannot shield towers from freeze.

Trivia

The Boss health bar for Kronus displays that it enters rage mode after reaching 75% of its health, however, when that happens, there are no actual changes on the enemy. This is to be due to a leftover statistic which is a phase 2 threshold set to 75% of its health that appears to have been taken from the Frost Spirit due to them using the same threshold at the time, them sharing freeze based abilities that function similarly and Kronus having another unused statistic, this time a health multiplier for Roblox Winter Spotlight. Kronus first appeared in the Hexscape Event, where it would be just known as "???". It would not be until the Null & Void Event that it would become an enemy. The staff wielded by Kronus uses the same model as Krampus' staff from Krampus' Revenge Event. Kronus is named after Kronos, the King of the Titans and god of time in Greek mythology. Hence having an ability, Time Scale, that can manipulate time. Kronus is unaffected by enemy appearance modifiers, such as Talk Like a Pirate Day.
