Overview

The Stillwater Prison is a grey, stone structure resembling a castle that always spawns between the 9,000 - 30,000m or 40,000m - 60,000m marks, similar to the Tesla Lab and Fort Constitution. It always spawns on the left side of the track. The Prison holds both Covenant Knights, who wield Swords, and Covenant Archers, who wield Crossbows (20 enemies in total), along with the Goliath if the player decides to pull out the Excalibur. It may spawn near Fortified Towns. The Covenant Archers can be sold for a bounty of $35, like Outlaws.

Structure Layout

There is initially only one entrance to the building, although an additional passageway is created in the back once Goliath spawns. There are three Buildings inside: Death Row, Maximum Security, and Minimum Security, along with the Tower. The Death Row is a building that is located in the prison with yellow walls and a brown roof. There is a Blunderbuss alongside with ammo and 2 Snake Oils in the second floor. The top floor, in the electric chair room has also mysterious text engraved in the wall, possibly some inmate that was sent to be executed. Minimum Security is a building that is located in the prison with maroon wall and grey roof. It has lots of medical supplies (including 3 Snake Oils), along with lower value loot. Maximum Security is a building that is located in the prison with grey wall and grey roof. There is a hole in the roof which can be climbed onto from the second floor for access to the Tower. It contains a moderate amount of valuables. Tower is a building that is located in the prison with a big plank wall and a plank roof, There is a Ballista with Ballista Bolts and Crossbow with Arrows inside it. to get up, enter maximum security building and go to the top floor, climb a truss on the wall and travel along the top of the outer wall, eventually reaching the tower. Enemies cannot access this area under most circumstances.

Strategies

Obtain a Rifle and stock up on Rifle Ammo (120 minimum). Next, stock up on Snake Oil, Holy Water, Molotovs (if there are no Holy Waters), and Crucifixes (if neither), it also should be noted that you should (at least partly) have Armor as Goliath can catch unarmed players by surprise, mostly killing them as Goliath has 3000 HP (six times the HP of a Werewolf), enough to withstand a player just holding a Revolver/Navy Revolver. This is not needed if you loot the Blunderbuss inside the Death Row Building as the 48 Ammunition present near the Blunderbuss is enough to kill the Goliath. Use the Vampire Class (Not required for if it spawns at 49-60km if Castle is looted fully) and the Vampire Knife, then go to the front entrance and go behind the pillars on the left and spam click until no more Covenants spawn. Stay as close to the front entrance as possible without them not needing to turn around in the pathfinding. If using the Vampire Class, you can attack Covenants by repeatedly going up to them and attacking using the Vampire Knife. Due to the fact that the Covenants bleed regular Blood, you will gain extra healing while attacking them, allowing you to not have to worry about using any healing items. It is recommended to raid the first two Towns to gain Money early-game and to get Holy Water/Molotovs/Crucifixes, it should be done as Stillwater Prison sometimes spawns extremely early (9K-30K). You should finish off the Covenants with Ranged Weapons, it's better off using body shots instead due to headshots being way less effective due to their Helmets.

Lore

Main Article: Lore On August 6th, 1895, Nikola Tesla and his team was given instructions to make a bioweapon, along with being authorized to use death row inmates at Stillwater Prison as test subjects for the bioweapon, later named "Agent-15" On February 4th, 1899, a telegraph is sent from Washington D.C to Captain Prescott, this telegraph depicted a ongoing riot at Stillwater Prison, in which guards had joined in, telling Captain Prescott to consider them armed and to deal with the riot at all costs.

Trivia

Stillwater Prison is the biggest POI in the game (excluding the Mines). The way in which the Covenants spawn is similar to that of the Zombie Soldiers in Fort Constitution. Stillwater Prison is similar in appearance to Fort Constitution. Stillwater Prison has the same loot in the same spots every single match. As of its addition, Stillwater Prison is one of only two Unique Locations to not contain Bonds, the other being Lincoln's Train. When it first came out, it seemed that Stillwater Prison was likely to spawn near Sterling. It is unknown why this happened, but it seems that it is less likely now.
